Colorful Coconut Jewelry
Back in November I went a bit crazy on eBay. One of the places that took up a lot of my attention was the “wholesalebeads2009” shop where the owner makes jewelry out of coconut shells. “Coconut shells?” you ask. Why yes, and they are damn pretty too. Here’s a few of their colorful coconut jewelry.
Not only that, extremely affordable. After I got over the pretty color choice selection I was attracted to the fact that there was no metal, something that often wrecks havoc on my skin — other than solid gold I tend to react to any metal around my neck either with discoloration or inflammation. Not a pretty sight.
This lack of an accessory option really makes me long for affordable accessories I can wear. These are the three necklaces I bought based on the images provided above by the eBay seller (I actually bought two more a few days later but they have not arrived yet):
To say that “wholesalebeads2009” offers affordable necklaces is really an understatement. These three necklaces cost me less than $14 and included free shipping.

Each necklace came securely wrapped in bubble wrap in one envelope. They are a great length and they make this incredible sound when the beads touch one another (I keep shaking them to hear — freaks the cats).
Here is a closer look at the coconut beads for each necklace as well as the closure of two them. The third one has a thinner rope and smaller bead.
