Villain Crazy

Last year, about the same time, Threadless went Muppet Crazy with a line of tees featuring the famous characters from The Muppets. This year they are going Villain Crazy but not just any kind of villain. The latest collection of 36 t-shirts features designs starring Disneyโ„ข Villains — think The Evil Queen, Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Ursula the Sea Witch, and Captain Hook. I really love so many of them but here are my top seven favorites:

The Evil Queen from Snow White

Wicked Wiles by Yuri Lobo does a wonderful job of showcasing the evil queen’s beauty and her obsession.

The Sleeping Death by Mandie Manzano is like a pretty stain glass of the two faces of the evil queen with a heart and apple framed by a mirror.

Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty

What Villain Do You See? by Nayelli Bautista Sanchez is a beautiful ink blot of Maleficent. I love that her horn crown is made from dragons.
Maleficient from Sleeping Beauty
Mistress of All Evil by Jose Pena is seductive and sweet like a poison apple and actually features evil times three.

Ursula the Sea Witch from the Little Mermaid

Ursulines by Patrick Seymour reminds me of a lit up neon sign. If you move the image up and down it almost flickers.

The Sea Witch by kdeuce has Ursula coming out of the darkness with her lovely squid legs.

The Croc / Hook from Peter Pan

Hook by Brian Cvejanovich has more the the obvious going on. There’s the croc, the hook tail, but look at the croc’s neck — on one side is the profile of a boy and on the other is Captain Hook — brilliant.

The tees in this collection are $23.50. Threadless t-shirts are currently available in sizes up to 2x — if you are a larger size please email them and put in a request to increase their size range.

  • Ornamental Tiger

Just because I do not collect cat things does not mean I cannot appreciate the occasional “cat” inspired t-shirt; especially one as pretty as the Ornamental Tiger designed by Victor Calahan for Threadless.
