A Week of Prompts
Easter Prompts
This is one of the most important holidays in many religions celebrating Christ’s resurrection. I do not want to get into a debate about the importance of Easter or the commercialism of the Easter bunny and chocolate. You can do that yourself when you work on your prompts (or not).
Here are seven prompts to jumpstart your writing exploration of Easter:
Day One: What does Easter mean to you?
Day Two: How did you celebrate Easter growing up?
Day Three: Write about a memorable Easter you spent with your family.
Day Four: Do you think the Easter bunny is an important part of the celebration of Easter?
Day Five: What traditions did your family follow during Easter? Did you keep any of them? How have they evolved?
Day Six: How would you like to spend this Easter?
Day Seven: Use the following words to write about Easter: Christ, Friday, Monday, life, happy, spring, family, solitude, praise, forgiveness.
Responses are not meant to be one sentence answers, elaborate on your answers. Meditate, reflect and enjoy. You can find more writing prompts at The Write Prompts blog.
