Continue On Saturdays Writing Prompt
The gist of it is simple. I give you the start of a line/story and you continue on. This week:
“I’m taking phone calls from ten until noon. After that I’ll be gone until 3.”
“Where will you be?” asked my assistant Maggie.
“Out.”

“Tell them I am out of the office.” I looked her directly in the eye like my mother used to look at me when I would ask “Why?” ten times in a row. Maggie smiled hesitantly then scribbled a note in her handbook.
