Tabi is Closing Its Doors

I just got a message today that Tabi is closing all stores! This is how you treat costumers when you are going out of business — you let them know so they can prepare. Currently they are having a 20-40% off sale and all sales are final. floral top from Tabi

I imagine as it gets closer to d-day that the discount will increase but the downside is the selection will decrease. So if there are certain pieces you love, stock up on them now because you won’t be able to find them for much longer.

While I don’t shop at Tabi for myself I’m saddened to see another Canadian clothing company clothes it’s doors. But at least they are doing it with style and above board, unlike what Cotton Ginny appears to be doing.

* Update, April 8: They are now offering 30 – 50% off original price.

  1. I am so shocked and disappointed to find that all Tabi stores are closing. As a member of the Tabi Blue Door Club, Card Number: 36904693, Store # 369, I think I wish I would have been notified of the closing. I have purchased many Tabi clothing items over the years. These items never go out of style and last for years. What hurts me most at this time is that I have a Gift Card No. 603628 47194 99191080 6 for the value of $53.91 which I cannot use with all stores closed. If I had only known that this was going to happen, I would have made sure to use my Gift Card before the stores closed. I can’t believe that I was not notified of this move when each time that I bought an item of clothing at any Tabi store, they wanted to have my name and address in their system. Now I ask, “What for?????” I would have thought it would have been to keep customers in touch of store sales or other happenings. I saw nowhere at any time any announcement that the stores were closing. The first I knew of it was when I went to each of the stores in Saskatoon to shop and both were closed. Then, not until two weeks later when I was visiting my sister-in-law in Edmonton did I find out that Tabi stores nation-wide had closed. This is awful!

I have two pairs of Tabi’s WILSON navy ‘STRETCH’ pants, Size 12, 98% cotton, 2 spandex, Made in China which I wear a lot and would like to have bought another pair. From the stock that you have collected from all your stores, would you please send me one pair of these pants? I would gladly pay the difference between the retail price and what is left on my Gift Card. I believe these pants retailed at $65.00.

I look forward to your reply.
    Thank you

    1. Dear Deanna,

I can understand your frustration, unfortunately I have no contact with Tabi and cannot help you out with your dilemma. Please try contacting them through their website. Here’s the link to their contact info: http://www.tabi.ca/contact.html I notice there is a toll free number there also.

      Best wishes,
