A Plus Size Halloween

Boo! Did I scare you? Didn’t think so but it was worth a try. Since Halloween is in the air, only 30 days left, I thought I would dedicate this week to Halloween costumes. It’s amazing how quickly costumes sell out. If you are a popular size in your everyday clothing chances are your favorite costume in that size will go just as fast so don’t wait until the last minute.
plus size Wonder Woman costumeOne of my favorite Halloween costumes and I’m sure I’m not alone isn’t even scary at all, unless you’re a criminal. Wonder Woman has been a symbol of peace, trust and strength since she was first created by William Marston in 1941.
It was only last year that a costume was actually available commercially for plus size women. This year a number of places offer this wonder woman costumes, many are sold old all ready, but I found one for $59.96 at Costume Craze.
The good thing about this style is it comes with a skirt instead of the brief. Wonder Woman’s costume switched back and forth throughout her career from brief to skirt. Her mother, Hippolypta, actually wore a skirt version of the uniform when she took over Wonder Woman’s role for a time.
Happy Halloween!
