Casual Tops from Eddie Bauer

It seems like everywhere I go there are pattern and prints on casual top beyond abundance. Don’t get me wrong I love patterns. They have a way of distracting, enhancing and beautifying but sometimes I just want a plain shirt to sink into.
Eddie Bauer is a leading designer in outdoors wear (which I associate with comfort wear) including a plus size line. It’s not a huge line but it covers the basics: tops, bottoms, swimwear, outerwear and a few dresses. They also offer petite and tall.
I was surprised how many of their casual tops I liked (including the print ones!) but here are three hits in my book for casual comfort:

The tops range in price from $25 – $40 and are available in sizes S – 2X.

  • The Red Sweater

Blue is my favorite color but I also have a weakness for red — when I do laundry there is usually a load of reds. It is not surprising to me that my heart skipped a beat when it saw this 17 Sundays’s Red Time Out Knit Dress at Madison Plus Select. Ok, I realize…

  • Dust Off Your One Piece

I read an article recently on YaPoo that the bikini is out and the one piece swimsuit is back in. Apparently celebrities are leading this trend and the retailers are soon to follow. The article made it sound like celebrity choice had more to do with a fashion statement then the fact that every tabloid…
