Zebra Print Top

A few weeks ago I finished reading an artist’s journal about Africa and one of the things I fell in love with are zebras. I found a lovely zebra print 3/4 sleeve top at Bella Curves.ย
The top, by Caribe, has a brown print. It comes in sizes 1x – 3x for $50. I love the plunging neckline and how it crosses over to meet up with another section to be cinched around the ring. They have a brown skirt by the same designer but I’m not totally sure I’m into it.
It is definitely a good career top as is or under a jacket; but it is also good for a night out with the girls.

I grew up with a vision of kaftans (or caftans) as the large boxy polyester day dresses with crazy prints on them that stay-at-home older people lounged in (not necessarily fat people either because I had an skinny aunt who lived…

  • Twice as Much

I know last week I was all about flats but I went to check out Monif C’s convertible dress sale and came across these luscious four inch patent leather pumps by Viv. And just had to show them to you. Unfortunately, they only have size 11 left. The good thing is the Convertible Dress sale…

  • Ornamental Tiger

Just because I do not collect cat things does not mean I cannot appreciate the occasional “cat” inspired t-shirt; especially one as pretty as the Ornamental Tiger designed by Victor Calahan for Threadless. This shirt reminds me of a similar one that I bought for my husband and one of his nephews. While this one…

    Red Hot Comfort

You all know that I am the comfort queen. And I suppose you have probably figured out that next to blue, red is my other favorite color. Especially if it is deep red like this Baby Phat track suit I found at Macy’s in what they are calling “chili”. It is red hot! (I know,…
