Plus Size Wedding Week

Spring is in the air and for some reason that means the onslaught of tulips and wedding shows. This week I’m going to raid the online wedding shops for my favorite dresses. Something I never really got to enjoy when I got married (I know, “boo, hoo”). But now I get to live vicariously through this blog.
Today’s feature is probably one of the best plus size based wedding shops online. Plus Size Bridal offers wedding dresses, veils, crinoline, longline bras, bridesmaid dresses, mothers’ dresses, accessories and more. Their entire catalogue is featured online and it’s impressive.
The models are not supersized but they aren’t all a size two either, so prospective brides can get a better idea of how the dress will look. They offer traditional, modern and renaissance wedding gowns from a few hundred and way up; averaging around $400. Sizes range from 0 – 32. Not all dresses come in all sizes but they seem to have a large range for each style. I was kind of disappointed that there were so many sleeveless/strapless styles but I didn’t have a hard time falling in love with many dresses.
They really have a large selection of plus size wedding dresses. I found it hard to limit my preferences to show you. Based on no limitations, here are two sets of three designers/styles I especially liked (Alfred Angelo (1148W), Aurora D’Paradiso (7406), Aurora D’Paradiso (7415):

The second set are Bonny (1910), Majestic Bridal (M740), and Venus (W258):

Bare in mind that the images here are small (you can click on them for a slightly larger image) and do not do the details justice. Plus Size Bridal has these images as well as more detailed images of bodices and backs.
