Torrid Clearance Finds

Torrid always has a clearance section but they recently added 300 items to make it a little easier on your pocketbook. With the revamped site it is even easier to surf the clearance section. I warn you, clearance sections are hit and miss. Usually something is in the clearance section because it didn’t sell well. You will see a lot of “definite nos” but the possibility for a great find or two is high. Remember that “clearance sales are final”.
I’ve never been a fan of the skinny legged jean because I think it throws off the overall balance of the plus size form. But I am a big fan of bootcut jeans. In Torrid’s Denim Clearance section I found a pair of Grey Vintage Style Bootcut jeans for $39.98 (reg $52) that come in sizes 12 to 26.
In the Edge Clearance there’s a pretty complement to the jeans is this Black Ribbed Buckle Cold-Shoulder Sweater for $25.97 (reg $42). Perfect for those colder days that seem to be more often than not this summer but still gives the feeling of summer with the exposed shoulders. It is available in sizes one and two. This top would look great with a career skirt or pants too.
From their Shoe Clearance, this modest wedge sandal in black patent. I could spend my whole allowance in this area. There’s everything from flats to platforms. Some fabulous, some quite scary. Fun though. As shoes should be. The Singer Black Patent Mini Wedge comes in sizes 7, 8 and 10 for $22.98 (reg $29).
And of course we can’t forget the underthings. Torrid has a number of items ranging from corsets to panties to frills.
