Pambra’s Bra Liner Review

Summer is coming quickly. With it comes the pleasure of sandals and shorts and sweat. Oh, wait, that last part isn’t one of the pleasures of summer; especially when it’s under the breasts. Sweating under the breasts is something plus women can’t avoid and have put up with begrudgingly. So when Pamela Haven, a stay at home mother of three, and mastermind behind Pambra’s asked me to review her bra liners my interest was piqued and I of course said, “yes!”

Pambra’s Bra Liners are designed for anyone who wears a bra. But especially if they suffer from perspiration under and between the breasts or are tortured by elastic or underwire. They also carry unilateral and bilateral bra liners for women suffering from mastectomies and nursing pads for breast feeding mothers.

My Bra Liner Sample

My sample was the Pambra’s Original Bra Liner in large. The shell is 65% cotton, 35% polyester and it is filled with a thin layer of 100% cotton. Their bra liners are available in sizes small (14″ across) to xx-large (36″ across). The 2x isn’t the same as clothing sizes. According to my band size (42) the chart recommended an xlarge which has a length of 30″. With tape measure in hand 30″ would wrap around to my back.

After talking with Pamela via email, I learned that the actual size has to do more with how far you would like the liner to go. It was finally decided a large (26″) would be best.

Stays Put and Comfortable

I’ve tried the bra liner with cotton wireless bra and with a underwire bra. In both situations the bra liner was easy to apply and once in place I totally forgot about it. At the end of the day the bra liner was still perfectly in place. I was impressed. I expected it to shift a little or to have one of the ends drift. It didn’t appear to have moved at all. The bra liner can be conveniently removed in the bathroom at the end of the day, leaving behind a fresher feeling bra. It’s small enough to be tucked into a purse.

After a few washes and go-a-rounds in the dryer I noticed the fabric came out a little softer but all the stitching seems to have remained completely intact. I haven’t noticed any shrinkage.

For Anyone Who Wears a Bra

I would highly recommend Pambra’s Original Bra Liners to any woman who wears a bra. Whether it be soft or underwire and it would be great for women who have very large breasts but may not want to put a bra on first thing in the morning. Actually, I can see bra liners increasing the life of my bras because they won’t have to be washed as often. This is especially important for my specialty underwire bras.

Price wise they seem reasonable but shopping around is definitely in order. Pambra’s Original Bra Liners are sold in a package of three (one color) for $15.95 to $21.95 per package depending on retailer. The average price for online retailers is $17.95. Some shops offer a discount if you purchase more than one package. Of the online shops I visited Kathy’s Curvy Corner seems to offer the best price/shipping and ships internationally.
