Eliza Parker Plus Sizes

Eliza Parker is a new plus size company out of San Francisco founded by Jessica Tenaglia. The current focus is plus sized dresses, tops, skirts and accessories. At the moment their fashions are being displayed on the curves of plus size model Fluvia Lacerda who is often seen on the pages of Igigi.
The “career” and “cocktail” clothing are available in sizes 10 to 28 and are in the med-high end price range. My favorite look from the Eliza Parker collection is the Million Ways Wrap in Magenta ($88) and the Pencil Skirt ($98).
At the moment the Eliza Parker website is in beta and entry is by invitation only; but don’t worry you can get an invitation by visiting the website and asking for one through their handy form (name/email). You’ll get a bonus discount coupon if you sign up to test before the June 21, 2010.
A big thanks to LoveNati for putting me on to this new designer!

When it comes to Lane Bryant they have been the worst offenders for suppling the most hideous plus size print tops. I noticed an improvement last season. And this season I’ve fallen in love with many of their black and white print tops. Beginning bottom left and clockwise: the Contemporary warm-weather sweater is $64.50 (sizes…

  1. I just had the chance to gain access to the private beta launch a couple of days ago and truly love this new designer! Cannot wait to see more from them.

  2. I am returning the Greenwich dress ordered 28 June 2010.
The fit is okay–on target for 18/20– but the finish is not at all what I expected for the price. It looks like a maid’s uniform and the fabric is substantially thinner than anticipated as well.
I would not pay more than $40 for this dress as it is currently made. To reach anywhere near the $179 mark, it would need to be made of more substantial (not blouse-weight) material, have much better seams, a more generous hem and upgraded buttons. A self belt would be a nice touch, as well, since there is a waist seam.
Thanks and good luck with your company.
