New Toms

I’ve been an Amazing Race fan since it’s first season (patiently waiting for 17) and you rarely hear much about any of the participants going on and doing something productive. The one that stands out the most is Blake Mycoskie, the founder of TOMS Shoes, who appeared in the second season with his sister Paige (they came in third).
If you are not familiar with TOMS Shoes it initially offered the “traditional Argentine alpargata shoe” to their customers and for every pair sold they offered a brand new pair to a child in need. Tom has been doing this since 2006.
Sadly, I haven’t been to the website in some time. They now offer a wedges, wrap boots, a cordones, botas, stitchouts and vegans in addition to their classics. The prices for adult shoes range from $44 to $98 depending on style.
Here are a few of my favorites (one for every day of the week):

I just wish they would add Paypal to their list of options for payment.

    Casual Comfort

During the cold blustering days of winter I like the simple draw of casual comfort. Torrid offers it along with affordability. I seem to be going through a Hello Kitty phase lately (I bought a Hello Kitty iPod cover on ebay and bought my niece the anniversary stuffies for her b-day) albeit I would like…

  • Think Pink – Shoes

Shoes.com come has really gotten into the “pink” spirit. They have already donated $5000 to the Susan G. Komen fund and for the month of October any pink shoe purchase means an additional 10% of the sale goes toward the fund. And there are hundreds to choose from! These are my top three four based…
