Plus Size Hula Hooping
The hula hoop (Marisa Tomei Hoopbody collapsible, $24) I ordered from Gaiam a few weeks ago arrived this week. Needless to say I was an instant flop at it and wondered if it was because I was fat. I went online to look for other plus size women hula hooping both for inspiration and tips and I came across this video at Vimeo of Lissa Angeline (thanks to a Twitter friend pointing out this hoopstress) doing some midnight hula hooping to the sounds of “Hey, Soul Sister” by Train. Love it, love her, love the song. And I feel much better about heading down the hula hoop track.
