Recently the pop star Lady Gaga called a young songstress (Maria Aragon) because the girl created a video of herself singing one of Lady Gaga’s songs (Born This Way) and posted it on YouTube. Here is a video of the moving conversation. Use it as inspiration to write another fictional celebrity meet-up. Or journal about a celebrity you would like to meet or talk to. Or write a short story about a character of your choosing who makes it big performing on YouTube.
Here’s some footage of the erupting volcano in Eyjafjallajokull, Iceland that occurred this past week. It’s a beautiful but also deadly sight.
