On July 1st every year Canadians get out all their red and white clothing, flags and barbeque gear in an effort to celebrate what a great country they have. All this fun is of course culminated with an extravagant show of fireworks.

Here are some prompts to help you write about Canada Day:

Day One: What does Canada Day represent to you?

Day Two: How did your family spend Canada Day growing up?

Day Three: Fireworks!

Day Four: What is your favorite Canada Day food?

Day Five: Write about a Canada celebration you have attended.

Day Six: Write about the worst Canada Day you can remember.

Day Seven: Use the following words to write about Canada Day: barbeque, fireworks, family, flags, red paint, music, festivals.
