Threadless Monday

It is another Threadless Monday. I didn’t think I would have another one so soon but Threadless released three new designs this week that I think are totally worth mentioning.
The Woods Belongs To Me by Budi Satria Kwan features a wee Red Riding Hood in a landscape silhouette of a wolf. I don’t know why but I have such a fascination with Red Riding Hood designs or inspirations based on the story.

The Blind Conscience by Kimberley Kermode has so many messages about the legacy that we are leaving the children of the future. A definite conversation starter.

And finally, Frankenstein’s Owl by Meg Owenson brings together steam punk and owls — two hot fashion trends. Who would have thunk?

Spring is in the air! Well, somewhere, definitely not here. It is colder than a mite on an Eskimo’s… you get the picture. There may not be spring in the air but there is spring in my heart. And at almost every clothing shop. This spring is continuing with the ethnic look from last year…

  • Kiyonna Top Three

Plus size clothing retailer, Kiyonna is one of my favorite shops for career and party wear. Last week they sent me a list of their hottest fifteen products of the moment.  I’ve whittled the list down to my top three faves (purposefully not including items I might have mentioned on previous raves). Tada!: Penelope Palazzo…

  • Floral Tops

If you can’t get into the whole floral dresses rage then consider the floral tops. Evans has a bunch to choose from, including these and many more. It doesn’t haven’t to be a full pattern, it can be a accent pattern or flower lace. I love them with jeans (of course), I love them with…

  • Lace Back Cardigan

Making It Big describes their Lace Back Cardigan as “Business in the front, party in the back” which is funny on so many levels. But this plus size summer cardigan is a perfect addition to any woman’s wardrobe especially with the cami tops and tanks out there to keep us summer cool. One minute it…

  1. The shirts are really cool. The designs has a little vintage touch to it. Rock and roll kind of theme are in nowadays. Thanks for the info! My favorite is the last shirt, the green owl.
