Today, write a letter to yourself at fourteen with at least ten things you know now that you wish you knew then. Tomorrow, write a letter to your future self at eighty with at least ten dreams or hopes for the future.
Make a list of at least five scary places. Pick one and write a complete description of it. At the end if you have time journal about why it is particularly scary for you. Save the other four for another day.
Architect, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe coined the phrase that “less is more” when it comes to buildings. It can also apply to other things. List 5 situations where less really is more. Continue writing by explaining why you think so for each one.
Journal about the top three things that you hope your son or daughter have learned from you via your example.
If you are married journal about why you took (or didn’t take) your husband’s last name. If you are not married journal about what you would do about your last name if you married. If you are a man, you can journal whether you would change your last name for your spouse.
