Wide and Colorful Tie Dye

I bought these wide legged pants from Lady Plus Fashion (Batik Design by Thatchalak) on eBay. To say I love the colors is really an understatement.

They are a lovely summer weight pant and I do not know if you can tell but we took these pictures and video on the hottest day of the summer hence the tank top — why I chose black I cannot remember — I just remember it was steamy hot. It was sweltering but I wanted to get the movement of the pants because I thought the movement of the rayon/cotton was so cool.

The drawstring pants are comfortable of course. I do not wear many wide legged pants, especially this wide and now I remember why — I am a klutz — I tripped twice on the stairs and once in the hallway the day this video was made.
I half expected to have some dye transfer to my skin because it was so hot and most tie dye’s I have had tend to but they did not at all. I still would not take the chance and wear white undies with them just in case.
As you may expect they are hand wash only. I did a quick rinse with Zero and there was definitely some color release but nothing more than expected. I hung them to dry and used my mini steamer to get out creases.
If I can learn to walk properly while wearing them they will probably be my new favorite summer pant.
I paid $14.99 plus $10 shipping and handling but it looks like they have gone up in price or I might have hit a promotion when I made my purchase. The prices currently range from $25 to $35 depending on style. They also have some interesting looking maxi dresses and sarongs.
