Kiyonna Highlights Lace

One of my favorite features this year is lace especially when it is on dresses. I like it as a delicate sleeve, as a covering for the back ย or bodice, but mostly as an overlay with another fabric underneath. Lacy fabric has really come a long way from the prickly stuff I was forced to wear as a kid. Kiyonna has an amazing selection of plus size dresses with lace detailing to choose from. My favorites? The Valentina and Retro Glam dresses.

Lace dresses from Kiyonna

From left to right:

  • Valentina Illusion Dress, $118
  • Retro Glam Dress, $168
  • Gigi Cinch Dress, $128
  • Scalloped Boudoir Dress, $158
  • Analisa Column Dress, $288
  • Luna Dress, $158

How do you like your laces, as a subtle accent or as a complete overlay? Also I am curious what you like your lacy prints to be, do you prefer it to floral or something else?

  1. Interesting that Kiyonna is featuring lace. I recently have been seeing more clothing in lace than before. So I guess “lace is back”. I have always liked a bit of lace. For me I like a floral pattern as a trim at the neckline or at the cuff. Of course when I was married I had lace from head to toe! I love the dresses in lace Kiyonna has styled and the price point is quite fair. I hope to see more colors in lace as we approach warmer weather.

    1. I guess it is back isn’t it. I don’t mind, if it is done right. I look forward to seeing some spring and summer lace colors too!
