iPod Cases from Etsy

iPod cases really take a beating. I have probably been through four cases in the last two years so I do not like to spend a lot of money on them. Under $20 is my preference. I also want them to look cute, offer easy access, and provide protection (not just a cover). I know I am asking a lot for $20. The last few cases I purchased on eBay. My latest case developed a crack in the snap in section so I am on the market for a future case. Today I decided to see what they have on Etsy.
Three shops in particular stood out for me because of their cuteness factor and because of their features.
Minifelts offers “cute animal phone cases, iPod cases and accessories”. Their iPod cases are about $10 over my budget but they are so damn cute. I especially like the zombie bear, wolf, and owl. The cases are $31 and are made in the U.K.

KapomCrafts offers “handmade fabric cell phone cases and accessories”. Their cases are about $21 to $23 and offer extra features like a front pocket for I.D., cards, cash, buds etc; a key ring; and a ribbon wristlet. There are cutesy and traditional patterns to choose from. I especially like the stripes, music notes, and dogs.

OhMyCake also offers “handmade felt cases for cell phone / Kindle / iPad”. Their iPod cases run $16 to $19. If you are an owl fan there are quite a few variations to choose from. My favorites are the red owl, pink hello kitty, and penguin.

There were a lot of decorative covers but I really like my iPod to be completely encased for its protection. Things go flying out of my hands all the time and I find covers do not offer enough protection. What do you use for your iPod/Phone?
