Gladiator Wedge Sandal

“I’ve seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.”
~ Gladiator the movie

Gladiator sandals are still a hot item this spring and summer but I think I’ve actually found the best pair. Where you ask. At one of my favorite “green” shoe shops — Vegan Chic. Even the name is cool.
These Vegan Wedge Sandals are by Madden Girl. They are designed with a comfy microfiber food bed and an 3 1/4″ cork-style heel. I’m guessing that “cork-style” doesn’t necessarily mean cork which is unfortunate. But they are still totally cute. And they are on sale for $39.50. These Glads are available in sizes 6 to 10.

    Fandango Shoes

The perfect wedding shoe. That’s what I thought when I saw these Carlos by Carlos Santana shoes at Shoes.com. The picture is a bit misleading because it’s a three inch heel. High enough to be feminine. The geometric shaped cutout is what makes it for me though. Lovely. I really like the white but they…

    Casual Comfort

During the cold blustering days of winter I like the simple draw of casual comfort. Torrid offers it along with affordability. I seem to be going through a Hello Kitty phase lately (I bought a Hello Kitty iPod cover on ebay and bought my niece the anniversary stuffies for her b-day) albeit I would like…

  • Shoes with Prints

One of the hottest trends for shoes this spring and summer is prints. I have not fully embraced this trend but am not totally against it either. I guess like a pattern top it comes down to finding the right pattern — not every print is a winner — and not every print is for…
