Christmas Party Dress – 6

Am I blue? You betcha! I fell in love with this blue velvet dress at Peggy Lutz tonight. This “Velvet is the Night” dress is made with Lycra velvet so it is comfy and hangs marvellously. Get a load of all that fabric. The model is 5’10” so us tall girls actually get a floor length gown instead of one that hits us above the ankles (hate that).

They boast about it being machine wash and dryable. So what you pay for in price, $269 to $309 depending on size, you save on dry cleaning. It comes in XXS to 3X. Seven other colors are available but why on earth wouldn’t you want to go blue.

I have been seeing the term “skater dress” around more often lately. It is a style I have never heard of before this summer but I am assuming it has to do with the ice skater competition dresses except in our case a bit longer and larger in size. They tend to be more figure…
