Red Ruffle Dress

I am totally crushing on Monif C’s new red ruffle dress. Woot, woot!
Ruffles are hot and so is this color. Love it. What are the chances that it will go on sale before the wedding in June. I know, not likely.
The “Elaine” Ruffle Sleeve Frock comes in sizes 14/16 – 22/24 for $198. It also comes in white which is equally as fabulous. They are preordering for shipping June 5th.

I’m a huge fan of gray. I’ve had three gray vehicles I like it so much. When it comes to clothing, to me, gray is like black, it’s a great backdrop for decorating upon (hello accessories!). In the office it also helps break up the boredom of the black suit. This season Igigi likes gray…

    Black and White

A lot of flack is given for recommendations against color but honestly, I love the look of black and white or even just monochromatic black or white. I’m not saying that plus size women should live in black, hell no, I love color! But I think every woman should incorporate black and white into her…

  1. I have mixed feelings about Monif C. but I do really like this dress. One of my big design concerns is how many plus designers are putting ruffles over the front making big chests seem almost clownlike on larger busted women. On this dress, though, they put the ruffles in exactly the right place – so it works really well. Good pick!
