Ghosts of Summer

A new love tee from Threadless this week. Ghost was designed by “droopy, DRP”. Looking at this artist’s other designs it’s obvious he/she has a penchant for skulls.
For me this one is a representation of our endless struggle for beauty — it’s eating us alive. In more ways than one. I think the woman kind of looks Michelle Pfeiffer-ish, from her cat woman days. This one would be excellent with a short skirt and mini jean jacket (or boyfriend blazer).

You have probably figured it out that peplum is not going away anytime soon. I can’t say that I am disappointed especially when I see cute plus size peplum tops like the Florence ones from Igigi. This top comes in two different fabrics, my absolute favorite being, the Blue Dahlia — it’s so pretty and…

Get a hint of cute retro style with a Mickey tee layered under a denim jacket or cardigan. These two cute tees are from Torrid. They are offered in plus sizes 0 to 4 for $34. They are official Disney shirts hence the hefty t-shirt price. Personally I love the Mickey Mouse one best.  Retro…
