Threadless Tuesday

One of the things I like about the artists at Threadless are the variance of their designs. There are lots of cutesy tees which catch my attention; there are lots of silly ones which I often roll my eyes at; and, there is the darker side like this new design by Budi Satria Kwan called Roses Are Red, But Why Do You Look So Blue. A long title to say the least. The blue draws you in and then you realize there is a skull (or perhaps a zombie) looking back at you. Could it also be crying? The butterflies are a nice touch too. As you can see it is quite a large design covering the tee. It is available in sizes up to 2x for $18.

  • Ornamental Tiger

Just because I do not collect cat things does not mean I cannot appreciate the occasional “cat” inspired t-shirt; especially one as pretty as the Ornamental Tiger designed by Victor Calahan for Threadless. This shirt reminds me of a similar one that I bought for my husband and one of his nephews. While this one…

  • Black and White Print

When it comes to Lane Bryant they have been the worst offenders for suppling the most hideous plus size print tops. I noticed an improvement last season. And this season I’ve fallen in love with many of their black and white print tops. Beginning bottom left and clockwise: the Contemporary warm-weather sweater is $64.50 (sizes…
