Lane Bryant Week – Tops
Lane Bryant had 77 items in their plus size top selection today when I visited. Narrowing down my favorites to five was an interesting feat, albeit not as time consuming or as difficult as I thought it would be because they had a lot of print tees that looked essentially the same. Lane Byrant looks like they have extended their sizing since the last time I was here offering sizes 14 to 28.
You’ll notice that there is quite a variance in length this season there are lots of the long tunics and an increasing number of crop tops (tip: crop tops are for layering). Like this cute Open Weave Shrug with Sequins ($60) and the Cropped Denim Vest ($55) which would be perfect for all the spaghetti/thin strap camis and dresses we will be seeing in the stores.
One of the trends this season is palest of the the pale and this pale pink Sleeveless Ruffle Top by DKNY ($79) with smocked waist is adorable, feminine, and flattering. In contrast I love the soft flowing lines of this white Beaded Cape Front Top ($50).
My choices for today have been surprisingly neutral except for this Tie Dye Tunic ($50) which hits on the 70s trend without being over the top. I especially love the subtle pintuck detailing on bust that gives it a nice shape.
