Lane Bryant Week – Bottoms

Whether you are into plus size pants, trousers, jeans, leggings, or anything in between Lane Bryant seems to have them all to some degree. The new arrivals seems to be slim in the pant department at the moment but that does not mean their selection is low, especially if you like khaki capris. Here are a few of my favorite plus size (available in sizes 14 to 28) bottoms:
I am not a short shorts kind of girl, I never have been. I like to have enough thigh coverage that the shorts don’t ride up. It always seems that a shorter short with a wider leg ALWAYS bunches but a longer short with a narrow leg, like these Denim Bermuda Short ($50) are more comfortable and stay where they are supposed to.

It seems when it comes to capri pants there is a strong fraction that absolutely hate them. I’m not one of them. I love them. I especially love them while traveling. They give enough warm when it is chilly but are cool enough should it get too hot. But the cut off point has to hit the calf at the right point. At or below the knee is too high and above the ankle is too long. But in between like these Knit Capris ($50) is perfect. These look almost jeggings-esque and would look great with all the tunic tanks available this season.

In long pants, I am really digging white right now but if you just can’t bring yourself to wear total white there are these Pinstripe Boot Cut Career Pant ($55). You cannot tell from the picture but there is a lovely khaki pinstripe (visit Lane Bryant and use their image zoom to see). On the more casual side is the full length Distinctly Boot Cut Jean ($60), with Right Fit Technology of course.

And finally, if you are looking for a little flirty breeze there is the Crinkle Chiffon Skirt ($50) which would look great with nude sandals and a palest pink ruffle blouse. Lane Bryant has some shorter styles but I was surprised that I didn’t see any maxi skirts.
