ASOS Curve Sweater Review

My friend Lana and I went out for our monthly lunch date. I finally got a chance to wear the ASOS Curve sweater I purchased a while back. Yes, it appears I may be going through a cowl neck phase.

Impressive Quality

One of the things I was impressed with was the weight. There is a lot of knit material here and it is not thin or see through. I was perfectly comfortable in the 10ยฐC weather. The sweater is soft, comfortable, and is going to be one of my favorite sweaters for fall/winter.

Weird Hemline

On the down side it is not the sweater style I was expecting. As least as far as the hemline goes. I knew it was irregular, of course, but the photo showcasing this top on the ASOS website was really misleading in terms of cut. As you can see from the photos the sweaters is very short across the back. The irregular line is all in front, not at the sides (or evenly between front and back) like it was portrayed. I was kind of put off by this at first but it has since grown on me. It just would have been nice to know in advance of receiving.

What Else I’m Wearing

I am wearing this ASOS Curve sweater with the original Right Fit stretch Venezia bootcut jeans from Lane Bryant in vintage wash. These are my fave jeans ever in terms of comfort and fit. I threw on a black and white leopard snood from Ardene’s and tan suede wedge loafers from Payless. And yes, that is my red Naturalizer handbag in the back.

While we were out I had this pretty blue drink the waiter recommended (Lana had a Caesar). I could not for the life of me remember the ingredients other than the obvious blueberries. But it tastes like an alcoholic blue Freezie.

I was just at ASOS Curve and there are so many items I am crushing on at the moment. Head over and check them out and let me know what you get!

  1. I agree that it looked irregular at the front. But I guess you pulled the sweater, which suits you perfectly. And it complements the jeans, which creates the comfy impression. I like the color of your blueberry drink and the Caesar looked nice too.
