Jump To It

I really did not warm up to the idea of a jumpsuit for plus size women until I came across the ones from Monif C last year. I eventually picked up a black one from Evans but would love to have a bright maxi-ish one too. One of my favorite ways to wear a jumpsuit is with a belt, vest and heels.
The plus size clothing market is not saturated with jumpsuits but I did manage to find a few favorites to share:
plus size jumpsuits
First up is the So Fabulous Printed Jumpsuit from Littlewoods in the UK which looks more like a maxi dress than a jumpsuit. I love the way it flows and the print is superb. In my mind I see bright red accessories with it.
Next up is the simple Black Ruched Sleeveless Jumpsuit from Torrid. It is a perfect piece for layering under jackets and sweaters in the cooler months and carefree in the summer months. And of course being black, any accessories are a go.
And finally, probably my absolute favorite (it’s blue) ASOS Curve Rope Tie Jumpsuit. It is listed as navy but I do not see navy, I see bright blue and it is gorgeous. I would love to see it with a wide white belt and a bright yellow handbag.
All three of these jumpsuits are priced under $80 and go up to at least size 26.
What about you, have you tried the latest jumpsuits or are you steering clear?

  • Plus Size Icons

Lane Bryant introduced their new Icon collection. The pieces offered are supposed to be inspired by the runways of Paris, Milan, and London. Luckily these are more wearable. Most of the pieces are career oriented and have a higher price point, I’m assuming because of their claim of using the finest fabrics. I also think…

  • Dotty Dresses

I have said it before and I will say it again. I love dots. I still pine for the red shirt with white dots that mysteriously disappeared from my closet a decade ago — maybe that is why I love them so. But these dresses from Domino Dollhouse look nothing like my shirt — they…
