Embracing Orange
The Butterfly Poplin Dress from eShakti is the perfect blend of orange for summer. In fact I think this may be the perfect day dress for summer. I absolutely love the fitted bodice with sweetheart neckline and the cascading pleats on the a-line skirt. Its overall look is very retro which is incredibly hot right now with Mad Men still dominating the TV.
Other great features about this dress? It has side pockets. As far as I am concerned a great dress is not a great dress unless it has pockets — one is good but two is awesome. I love how the butterflies break up the intensity of the orange without being overpowering in themselves and the pattern stops at the skirt which is nice too.
To finish it off this dress is only $70. Being an eShakti dress means if you do not like sleeveless they can add a cap sleeve or a flare sleeve for you and they will even adjust the length. They have sizes 0 to 26 but are currently doing customizations to bust, shoulder width, waist, and hips for free (it used to be an incredibly affordable $7.50). Like I said, the perfect summer dress.
