Continue On Saturdays Writing Prompt
The gist of it is simple. I give you the start of a line/story and you continue on. This week:
Miles Everhart dropped baby Daniel on his head and laughed. He sucked back the rest of the warm beer in his bottle of Molson and held the neck of the bottle up in the air with his thumb and forefinger and wiggled it from side to side as he looked at Lissa. “It’s empty,” he said, then let it drop. I expected it to shatter or at least break but it just bounced once and rolled across the floor to ting against the stove. Lissa got up from the chair and walked passed her wailing baby boy, who reached up for her as she passed, to the fridge. She pulled out a cool bottle of Molson and…
