More Cold Shoulder Tops

A few weeks ago I mentioned the influx of cold-shoulder tops; especially the dressy ones from Kiyonna. Well the influx has not stopped. There seems to be cold shoulder tops around every corner but with the heat I am definitely not complaining.
Lane Bryant has some real winners in their plus size casual top collection that I really like:

Clockwise:

  • Cold Shoulder Medallion Tee, $40
  • Lace Inset Cold Shoulder Top, $40
  • Striped Poncho by Seven7, $70

Do It Yourself

And if you are somewhat crafty with scissors and a sewing machine I imagine this would be an incredibly easy DIY project. Here is a quick DIY video with no sewing from Dani over at Resonate Local:

While she cuts over the arm and shoulder seam I would probably only cut the arm section because plus size tops tend to fit us differently. But if you have a lot of old tees, experiment!

It’s been a couple weeks since my last Threadless pick! Today I was moved to post about a design by Brittany Kristen Bosworth, Dreams are Flying. As you can see it’s a bird with flowing tail and wings. It makes me think of birds of paradise… and hair. Dreams are Flying goes up to size…

Working at home I have the opportunity to wear a lot of t-shirts. I love them. They are comfy, forgiving and they can say a lot or a little about the person wearing them. I came across Black Cherry Clothing and their Civil Disobedience tees by accident but I am so glad I did. They…

    70s Inspired Pleats

One of the hottest trends this season is mini pleats. It’s part of that whole retro kick that we seem to be heading into whether we want to or not. I actually like this trend, from a non-hog-wild perspective anyway. One of two pieces are more than enough to satisfy the desire. When I started…

While checking out London plus size clothing designer Anna Scholz’s new collection I fell in love with this sweater which, supposedly, everyone in the Scholz’s office has. Well, I want one! Ok, I want to look like Crystal Renn too (the model in case you did not know). This combination silk and cashmere sweater is…

  • Red Lace

With the belt or without, this fully lined Red Lace top is eye catching. It looks cute with the cuffed shorts shorts Igigi paired with them but I think the black wide legged pants or a black pencil skirt is a must (even grey would be nice). The elastic raglan sleeves offer coverage and add…

    Oversized Tunic

Love it! The KYOTO TUNIC and capri leggings (full length too) that is. All they need are some flats. The tunic would look equally sweet with skinny black jeans (Calvin Klein, $45), suede boots (Torrid, $68), and cinched at the waist with an obi belt (Etsy, $38). If you love it too you can find…
