Sy-Fy Crazy Tees

I have not had a Threadless day in a while and today seemed like a good day since they have free shipping worldwide (use “shipshiphooray” code)on until March 2. There are lots of new designs if you have not been there in a while. I would like to think there is a little something for everyone with designs ranging from cutesy to dark but perhaps not so much anymore. I do not like their new theme for surfing which kind of reminds me of Windows 8 and I am not completely sold on. That being said I found three designs by three fabulous designers and wanted to share them with you:
My absolute favorite is “Adventure Awaits” by Karen Hallion. I love anything with the Tardis (Dr. Who). On first glance I thought it was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz with the blue and white dress but on closer inspection the character looks more like Disney’s Belle (Beauty and the Beast). Still love it.

Galaxy prints have been widely coveted as of late. I have seen some awesome prints in tights, dresses, and even shoes. I was immediately drawn to this delicate version of “Stars and Stripes” by Ross Zietz. What makes this design unique is that it is all over the tee, front and back, which is unusual for a Threadless t-shirt.

Continuing with the sy-fy theme is this cheeky design by Eduardo San Gil debating “Science vs. Superstition”. We have wizards and unicorns doing battle with some of the greatest scientists of our time. I see Darwin, and Einstein, and Freud…

My only interests are not sy-fy. I also really liked the “Lonely Fox” tee and the “God Owl of Dreams” tee. But my heart does tend to steer more toward sy-fy… and zombies. Threadless tees come in sizes small to 2x for about $20.

  • "Tee-licious" at Avenue

I wasn’t going to do another tee related post this week but these new tees from plus size clothing retailer Avenue are so cute and so, well… retro. And since retro is still “rad” I had to mention them. They are all pretty much similar in style with slightly different graphics. Some are short sleeve…

  • Floral Tops

If you can’t get into the whole floral dresses rage then consider the floral tops. Evans has a bunch to choose from, including these and many more. It doesn’t haven’t to be a full pattern, it can be a accent pattern or flower lace. I love them with jeans (of course), I love them with…

  • Purple Snuffy

It’s no surprise that I’m fond of trendy t-shirts with saucy statements. But sometimes I like a design just because it’s cute. Like this pissed off snuffoluffagus from Threadless. Ok, it’s actually called a Woolly Woolly but that’s not what I see. I see a pissed off snuffoluffagus. And it’s darn cute. This t-shirt was…

    The Hippy Look

Sometimes I think there are really no new fashions, that every thing will all come back again in this continuing cycle only maybe with a twist or some added flare. When I came across this out fit at online plus size clothing store Silhouettes I had a flashback to my jumper days, which were not…
