A Little Flamenco

Does the heat make anyone else tired. I just want to curl up on my desk and snooze. Would not be prudent so I went shopping instead. I found this great skirt at Zaftique’s plus size clothing store. There’s something Spanish about it. Or maybe Catherine Zeta Jones-ish from Zorro. A little Flamenco anyone? I love the layers and ruffles. Since they seem to be in for tops why not extend them to skirts.
Plus size pink ruffled skirt.
The skirt comes in sizes 00 to 6Z and retails for $69 to $79 depending on size (I know, I know).

  • The Short Substitute

I am not a “shorts” person. Never have been. It probably has something to do with the pantie shorts I was forced to wear in gym class in high-school (back when gym was a requirement for graduations). I do however love capri pants, short pants, crop pants, whatever you want to call them. And being…

  • Pleat Skirt

I think this Colonel Pickering pleat skirt easily falls into the realm of unusual. I know it’s wool and it’s getting warm but I love it. The pleats are striking especially when highlighted by the white stitching and buttons. The skirt is available in sizes 12 to 26 for £120 from Carolyn de la Drapière….
