Plus Size Levi's at Torrid

One of my favorite brands of jeans growing up was Levi’s. I literally wore them bare. It was a great clothing disappointment for me when I grew out of Levi’s and could no longer enjoy the quality and fit. No longer!
Over at the trendy plus size clothing shop, Torrid, I found three pairs of Levi’s brand jeans. They are not in a full range of sizes but still, I am happy to see them in plus sizes. And they are on sale:

Levi’s Full Waist Bootcut Denim Jean in sizes 16 to 22 for $34.98 (reg $48)

Levi’s Defined Waist Bootcut Denim Jean in sizes 16 to 22 for $34.98 (reg $48)

Levi’s Sky Wash Flare-Leg Denim Jean in sizes 16 to 22 for $34.98 (reg $48)

I would actually like a combination of the three: bootcut, defined waist, sky wash. I imagine these styles are end of season, hence the sale. I hope they get more in!

Junonia’s catalogue arrived last week and one of the things that stood out for me was their crinkle nylon skirt. My favorite pattern for clothing is houndstooth (I actually love it in accent chairs too). Houndstooth, or Dog Tooth (UK), has come in and out of favor for decades. I was actually beginning to think that houndstooth was extinct but it looks like it might be rolling back in to fashion. So if you have…

  • More Than Jeans

Calvin Klein Jeans offers the plus size woman (size 0 to 3x) more than a good pair of jeans. Calvin Klein Jeans has tops, shirts, cardigans, jackets, and cargo pants. Their plus size selection is not huge and they do not use plus size models (even though they should) but what they have is a…

I really hate shops that have skinny models that don’t even look like they are a size 8. Jessica London is one such online store. They offer plus size clothing in sizes 14 to 34 (that is a huge size range considering what a lot of other stores are offering) but all the models look…
