Bunny Slippers Review

Yes, you read that title right. As someone who chronically complains about her cold feet, when Kelly, from the online site called BunnySlippers.com, contacted me to review a pair of their slippers I was more than eager to give them a try. They sells a wide range of bunny slippers, animal slippers, novelty slippers, and more. Their selection is available for children and adults (why should kids have all the fun).

The Classic Bunny Slipper

Kelly gave me my choice of slipper style to choose from so I went with the classic bunny slippers. A style, I felt I wouldn’t be totally embarrassed by, if I had to meet the UPS guy at the door. Or run down the driveway after a garbage can blowing away.

These Classic Bunny Slippers are super comfy and so cute.

The slippers arrived within two weeks in a typical box and bagged. To say these slippers are plush is really an understatement. I’ve been walking around with big bunny feet for the last few weeks causing giggles and good humor all around.

Fun and Terror for the Pets

One of my cats is scared silly of them and the other likes to play with the whiskers. Yes, they come with whiskers! They also have wireframe adjustable ears, a cute cotton ball tail. They are available in sizes S (5/6) to xxl (15). I went with a large for my size 9.5 feet and they fit perfectly.

The first few days I wore them with socks (I’m a sock person). While they were comfortable enough they seemed to fight against the slipper material. My solution of course was to wear them barefoot which is, I imagine, how they are supposed to be worn. No more sliding out.

Warm Up Those Tootsies

These slippers are also incredibly warm. When my feet are cold I slip them on and they are quickly warmed up. In fact, maybe a bit too warm. I find after a few hours I have to take them off and go back to my socks. It’s not a bad thing really just a fact.

According to their website, the slippers are made with fluffy acrylic (bunny body), soft polyester terry (footbed), and poly flannel (pink bunny ear lining). I have not washed them yet but they recommend “surface” washing over machine washing to protect details. If you are ok with that, wash away.

Overall, these are a fun slippers that is also functional (warm). They stay on the feet and after two weeks I haven’t noticed a drastic decrease in the plushness. Because they are bigger than your average slipper, they do require an adjustment in your gate. Until you get used to walking with them at least. The cost for all this cuteness is $29.95.
