The Plus Size Shirt Dress

The shirt dress was starting to pick up momentum near the end of last year but I really think it will come into it’s own this spring. It’s a versatile dress to have in your closet that comes in the basic black (like we can’t use another basic black dress) and everything in between. I haven’t been at Lane Bryant for a while but I was happy to see a nice selection including the choice of mandarin red, white, and polka dot one.

I do however prefer the ones that button from top to bottom as this gives them the opportunity to be a great dress or a great layering piece. They can be worn dressed up or down as a dress or open like a long jacket.
