The Striped Cardigan

Stripes and dots almost always tickle me pink. It does not matter what size they are or if the designer really gave much thought to them. But whem they do, it thrills me even more. Carmakoma’s striped cardigan is one of those times. Black and white stripes are classic but what I love about this cardigan is the ever so slight variation in the size of the stripes from top to bottom. You do not really notice it on first glance.

The ruching detail on the bicep is an interesting touch and the black panel down the back helps to lessen that googly sensation that one can get sometimes when looking at stripes. Overall, it is just an interesting addition to horizontal stripes. I am disappointed however that it is not a cardi-set. It would be super functional with a matching sleeveless tank.
